The benefits of sound therapy

Have you ever felt well-being or serenity when listening to music? Do you sometimes perceive memories thanks to certain sounds? After testing 4 sessions of sound therapy with her son, aged 4 and a half, Natalie can only recommend this alternative approach. It enabled both of them to take a step back and rediscover a mother-son balance, all in a calm, positive frame of mind.

Touch with sound, or sonotherapy, combines two distinct approaches:

  • Sound bathing can be done in groups or individually. People are immersed in sounds and vibrations that lead to relaxation and soothing.
  • Therapeutic care: we work in pairs during the session, using "4 hands". We adapt the treatment to the patient's needs. For example: deep stress, insomnia, attention deficit disorder, physical disorder, therapeutic support in parallel with chemotherapy, post-traumatic shock etc...

How do we work?
Mostly with bowls. These tools have been used for millennia by the Nepalese people, using sounds and hertzian frequencies. Today, too many people improvise themselves as sonotherapists, but it's important to remember that sonotherapy requires self-knowledge as well as knowledge of sounds and frequencies. We also use other types of instrument, such as the Tingsha (2 copper "saucers" connected by a wire), tuning forks, Koshis, shamanic drums etc.

This technique enables people to encounter their memories, starting with the oldest human memory, the heartbeat in the fetus.

Why are these treatments recommended and for whom?
For everyone, of course... However, this method is particularly interesting for women at every stage of pregnancy.

By working on certain zones such as chakras, meridians, subtle or physical bodies, and as a complement to allopathic treatment, we achieve excellent results for mothers and mothers-to-be.

This helps release anxieties and fears about pregnancy, birth and parenthood. As well as certain blockages in the various bodies. Living these stages fully and serenely is essential for your own life and that of your child.

The method is the same for children and teenagers. We adapt the volume of the sound, but the frequencies and vibrations used are identical. Children's receptiveness is often astonishing, as they are generally more easily able to "let go" and be in the present moment.

However, this type of care is not just for women and children. Today, a balanced, serene family is a happy family. That's why we now offer couple sessions.

Whether it's a sound bath or individual care, the treatment lasts around an hour and a half, during which the person (mother, father or child, couple) lies down, comfortable and guided by sound. Each person is unique and will experience it in a different way, whether meditative or immersed in a gentle sleep.

Nicolas Tesla said that "to understand the universe, you have to think in terms of frequencies and vibrations". Sound has the power to touch beings in all their dimensions...
